About the creators

I wanted to take a moment and thank all of the people that have allowed me to share their work. All of the postings have the links to the original posting - click on the name of their site. If you find something that you really enjoy please take a minute to go to their site and leave them some love!! Without them, without their permission this would not exist. I try not to get to many from one person - unless what they have is so unique. I do not get anything in return from them...but let them know you found them here with me Jackie at Glitter Fantasies.

Scor-Tape Flower

I have to admit Becca from Amazing Grace Papers is exceptionally talented. If you have never taken a moment to check out her blog I strongly suggest it. She comes up with the most ingenious things!! Especially flowers...she finds new ways to make them and they are easy to do and look fabulous!!! I do believe I already have one of her flowers posted...well here is another one she calls Scor-Tape flower. I really wonder how she even comes up with some of her ideas.
Follow the link above for a video on how to make this incredible flower - you won't believe how she does this until you watch the video.

Paper Piecing using digital stamp

I saw this and just knew I wanted to try this....and it doesn't really look that complicated!!!
This is from Digital Doodling but sadly enough she is closing down the blog. I am not sure how long we will be able to access this so I am spending time to make sure some great work doesn't get pushed to the side and forgotten.

Below is an example of a card made using one of my favourite paper crafting techniques, i.e. paper-piecing
.
.
.
.
.
How to paper-piece using digital stamps...
.
.
1 Print off your chosen digital stamp...
. ...
2 Place your digital stamp on to a light box ready to trace around the chosen parts using a fine black ink pen...
. .
..
3 Using a light coloured paper of your choosing, cover the digital stamp and begin to trace around the desired area which you would like to paper piece... You could also use vellum and trace with this / or run vellum through your printer recreating another digital image (if you have an A4 sized sheet) and then cut out the chosen areas to paper piece from the vellum...
. .
..
4 Take your time to complete the project - if you rush - it may smudge or look unprofessional after you cut it out...
. .
..
5 Once you have traced around the desired areas, cut it out using a fine pair of cutting scissors.
.
.
..
6 Once you've cut around all your chosen traced areas - colour your digital stamp in the non paper pieced areas first and then apply the cut out paper / vellum to complete your project... simples!

Card Ideas

Digital Doodling is closing down her blog and I hated to see all of her great work get dismissed. So here is a compilation of her cards. Please do NOT take these to post as your own or do anything with them. These are simply for ideas as these are amazing!! I do not own these images and only have them since the blog is closing. The layout examples are posted under well...Scrapbook Layout Ideas. Most of these have digi stamps that they were made from, if you want it head on follow the link and you will have to look around for them.
